Au revoir, Brighton. Hello London. Home again.

  3. Drying my clothes with a hairdryer

    Wednesday, June 26th, 2013

and packing everything up; I leave my flat in Brighton never to return again!  It’s odd.  I made it through the course I needed to.  I survived the year beating my grades target by a full 25% worth of credits.  crazy.

    to london for a meeting,
then to wales to bid a friend adieu for 3 years
then to shrewsbury so that my nieces don’t forget my face.
and then fuck knows….it’s a long time between now and september, so I guess I can’t really relax yet, but it does feel like a hurdle has passed.

    time to start everything new.

  4. Folks, it’s been a pleasure.

    Saturday, June 22nd, 2013

    Hi all,

From July, this blog will be inactive.  I was persuaded to join tumblr by the awesome bloodyhormon and used it as another platform with which to interact with friends, but it’s since become a place where the likes of lottelodge, mollycrabapple and lacigreen have helped to radically alter my understanding of who I am - so much so, in fact, that I don’t feel comfortable posting here any more knowing that I am followed by friends & family who largely sit at odds with, what I see as, the evolution of my own morality and opinions.  I had hoped that changing my username would be enough, but sadly it wasn’t.

So, please, add me on facebook, follow me on twitter.  My name is Pookage Hayes and I’m very easy to find.  Meeting people from this universe is an adventure and hugely saturated in awesomeness, so please - add me!

I’m going to continue using Tumblr; I’m a huge fan of the community - it has helped me immensely and I’m proud to be a part of it - but I’ll be continuing under an alias and an alternate identity.

Folks, you’re awesome. Thank you, and goodnight.

    -Pookage x

CUSTOM TUMBLR EMBED UPDATE:Making all kinds of progress on that fancy embed I’ve been talking about.  How does this look for simplicity?  Made a couple more features as well…NOW we have :
support for multiple blogs / feeds on one page
get posts based on tag
get a specific number of posts
insert feed(s) somewhere specific on the page, or just let it choose for you.
display permalinks
display tags
display reblog links
enable html5
Still to implement :
get posts based on date
get posts based on type (text / photo / audio etc)
get posts with a specific ID / URL
